Art Keeps the World Moving

Art is what keeps the world stimulated and inspirational. It really does keep this world colorfully on its axis. It gives rhythm to our routines, breathes energy into spaces, and adds meaning to moments.

Everything you see, touch, experience, hear, and understand, somehow, some way…..is translated through some form of art. It’s in the branding of your favorite products, the visuals that move you, the stories that stay with you, and the soundtracks to your life.

By definition, art is “a skill at doing a specified thing, typically one acquired through practice” and “subjects of study primarily concerned with the processes and products of human creativity and social life, such as languages, literature, and history.”

So even by definition, ART IS LIFE. Art is imagination in motion. Art is deeply understanding how it’s all connected. Essentially, we are all artists. Whether we realize it or not. We take in the world one way, and then make it our own. We express. We create. We interpret. Each day is a canvas and our perspective is the paint. We build the world we live in through the experiences we reflect on, the words we speak, the memories we carry, and the visions we chase. Even our silence has texture. Even our resilience is a design choice.

So moral of the story: pick up your brush and keep it in your hand.
Know that you’re more in control than you realize.
You don’t have to wait for permission to create change.
You already hold the tools.

Be an active participant in the art you want to see around you. Make it personal. Make it meaningful. Make it yours. If art keeps the world going, and you’re part of that, then you’ve already added more color, more meaning, and more purpose to the planet just by showing up.

So keep showing up.
Keep creating.
The world is waiting on your colorful input.
