In 2014, I picked up a paintbrush for the very first time, not knowing that moment would change everything about my life. What started as a way to process grief became the doorway God used to usher me into purpose, confidence, global impact, and a deeper understanding of who I was created to be. Art didn’t just save my life… it gave me new life.

It opened my eyes to the world God had promised me — a world overflowing with color, creativity, faith, and favor… all waiting for me on the other side of fear. Whew. I just had to dig deep, believe in myself, trust my gifts, and let God lead.

This special edition shirt features Samaki, a design inspired by the Swahili word for “fish,” representing movement, survival, flow, and the beauty of navigating life’s waters with grace. With its bold blues, sweeping curves, and rhythmic motion, Samaki symbolizes resilience — the ability to move with the currents, adapt, and rise stronger on the other side.

Samaki is a reminder that even when life shifts, we were built to adjust, to swim forward, and to live in motion. It honors the ebb and flow of the journey — how God carries us, directs us, and teaches us to trust the waters beneath us.

This release is part of a short-run collector’s series, showcasing the artworks that shaped my evolution as an artist and as a woman walking boldly in her calling. Once these are gone, they may not return in this format, making each one a true collector’s piece.
