Welcome to the vibrant universe of Abeille Creations. Whether you arrived here through one of my wearable art pieces, a collaboration, or pure curiosity, I'm grateful you’re here.
I’m Melissa A. Mitchell, a self-taught Bahamian-American artist and founder of Abeille Creations (ABL), a wearable art and design house I launched in 2014 with a mission to bring art to the people. What began as grief therapy evolved into a global movement, transforming original paintings into clothing, accessories, home décor, murals, large-scale public installations, and culturally immersive experiences. I am a proud two-time Florida A&M University graduate, holding a bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a graphic design minor, and a master’s in Public Management. I extend my philanthropic reach through the university and as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Abeille Creations is dedicated to amplifying Black art by Black women through three pillars: Art Education & Healing + Art Expansion + Art Inspiration. Everything I create is rooted in culture, color, confidence, and community. Each collection is intentionally crafted in limited quantities, preserving artistic value while offering customers an intimate art-collecting experience through fashion and design
