There are moments when art becomes more than something beautiful to look at. It becomes a declaration. A celebration. A reflection of where we've been and everything we still believe is possible.

And this design? This one is personal.

Introducing "My Governor Is a Black Woman — State Edition," a vibrant, illustrated statement tee celebrating Black women's leadership, representation, resilience, and the power of dreaming beyond the boundaries that once seemed impossible.

Inspired by the excitement surrounding Georgia's November 3, 2026 election and Keisha Lance Bottoms, this design is a colorful tribute to the women who continue to challenge expectations, open doors, and inspire generations.

Because seeing a Black woman represented at the highest levels of leadership isn't just about a title.

It's about every little girl who now sees another possibility for her own future.

As a Black woman, artist, entrepreneur, and proud HBCU graduate, I've spent my life surrounded by extraordinary women who lead with courage, conviction, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to their communities.

Women who built movements before they had microphones.

Women who organized long before their names appeared in headlines.

Women who carried families, businesses, neighborhoods, and entire communities on their shoulders while still finding the strength to make room for someone else.

And women who refused to believe that the next generation should inherit the same limitations they faced.

Two years ago, following the 2024 election, I remember feeling the weight of disappointment. But somewhere between the heartbreak and the hope, I made a decision to keep creating, keep believing, and keep pouring into the communities I love.

Because even when the outcome isn't what we hoped for, the work of building something better continues.

And Black women have always understood that assignment.

For the past 48 hours, I've been creating from a place of gratitude, reflection, and renewed inspiration. This collection was born from those emotions, and this particular design brings together two things I deeply believe in: the power of art and the power of representation.

Featuring a bold, colorful illustrated portrait of Keisha Lance Bottoms against a striking blue graphic backdrop, this State Edition celebrates leadership through the vibrant artistic language of Abeille Creations.

It's bold. It's expressive. It's unapologetically colorful.

And it's a reminder that our stories deserve to be seen, celebrated, and remembered.

Because when Black women rise, they don't just change the room. They change what's possible for everyone coming behind them.
