Art That Lives With You
What I choose to do with my art has always been intentional. My latest adventure? Home decor and furniture.
Yuppppppp, you read that right. I’ve officially dipped my toe (well, both feet) into the great wide world of furniture design & home decor. Funny enough, the moment I started painting, I saw this coming. I didn’t know how long it would take to get here, but I always knew home design was in my future.
I knew that when it finally happened, it would be the beginning of the rest of my art life in a completely new direction. So when the opportunity came, I jumped in, knowing it would expand my world, introduce my work to new collectors, spark new conversations, and unlock doors I couldn’t yet see.
And now that it’s slowly making its way around the world… my soul is full.
Seeing my art on Jaxx Beanbags, on furniture, in curated spaces, it’s a dream realized. We’ve been quietly introducing these pieces since June, but the new drops coming this fall? Spectacular. Oh, here’s the link by the way: https://lnkd.in/eTJHN2k9 .
Starting in September, I’ll officially have my own gallery inside Bloomingdale’s right here in Atlanta at Lenox Mall. That’s righttttttttt, a stand-alone gallery filled with Abeille Creations. Sorry I’ve been MIA, I’m literally building things brick by brick, color by color over here.
This is a BIG deal.
Aside from being the first artist of any race or gender to hold a solo gallery space within Bloomingdale’s (starting in 2024), I’m honored to pave the road for others to see what’s possible.
This fall, quarter 4 is going to be lit. I’ve got my own custom seat, and I’m bringing it to every table.
